I've done lots of posts on Mailee lately, so I thought I'd catch up on all the fun things Mr. Kaiden has been up to in the last few months!
Pajamas are overrated, Kaiden decided he wanted to put on his Piet outfit instead. I love his serious face in this one...
...and his huge smile in this one.
For those of you who know what it means...here is his Lichar's "picture taking face!" If you don't know what that means, well....let's just say Lichar is "famous" among our friends for taking a self photo and had a similar face even though he was the one holding the camera.
Another one where he looks like his Daddy! (eyes closed!)
He loves Mailee! He even notices when she does something new. "Watch Momma, Baby get it!" (when Mailee started grabbing things) He still calls her "Baby" most of the time. If we ask her name, he says, "A-lee."
I asked him to show me his jammies and this is the pose I got!
My little super heroes!
Kaiden loves to go in the closets. We thought he might be afraid of the dark, but nope! He loves to go in and out. "Come 'mere Momma!" This game is even more fun with a flashlight!
As he walks through the house, he closes all doors and drawers that might be left slightly ajar. Seldom will you find an open door at our house. :)
He is getting really good at making "houses" and "towers." (although this one was Daddy's creation) Of course his favorite part is to destroy it afterward.
One day Mommy's friend came over and Kaiden had a play date with Ruthie.
They loved playing the piano.
Ahhhh, sweet hugs!
Doesn't he look so big?!? He was so proud to be wearing this backpack.
We had a birthday party at a park and Kaiden played and played. Afterward we had to run to Wal-Mart to get ready for our upcoming trip to Amsterdam. He was SO tired that he fell asleep in the cart. Poor baby!
Here I had my hair down and Kaiden was playing with it. (it is usually up so Miss Mailee doesn't get a hold of it) I pulled all my hair over my face so he couldn't see me and he thought that was hilarious. Then he decided that it was a "house" and he wanted in.
Thus was born the "hair house!" We hide inside...

...and then peek out to see everyone. He did this right as I decided I wanted to cut my hair. *sigh* Guess that will have to wait....
Recently he learned Daddy's name. We were driving to meet some friends for lunch and Lichar and I were talking. K was in the back seat.
"Daddy.....Daddy.....(no response from Lichar), Daddy.....Daddy ....Lich!" Lichar turned around to see K's mischievous grin. So now when "Daddy" doesn't get a response, K knows to try "Lich" or "Lichhh-aaarrr"

For some reason he has started adding a "K" sound to the end of my name. "Momma-kuh" I have no idea.... :)
This kid LOVES fruit. This day, it was blackberries. :)
He loves fish sticks. Several times he's chosen them over mac and cheese or chicken nuggets. He also eats lettuce provided it has lots of "sauce." (dressing) He did NOT get either of those things from me! He loves "loaf-meat" (meatloaf) and that is often what he imagines that he makes for dinner. He DID get that from me, and the kid can out eat me when we have it!
This one needs no explanation.
Kaiden now loves to sit in Mailee's Bumbo chair.
I thought for sure he would get stuck, but I think he got out easier than he did when he was an infant.
He LOVES to help out. He had a blast helping Daddy clean the car.
"I spill it Momma," he kept telling me. Does it count as spilling if you do it on purpose?!?
One morning he built a space station with his legos. This was his very own creation and idea. He was sitting there playing and suddenly declared, "I make a space station!" Lichar and I looked at each other stunned..."Did he say what I thought he said?!?"
Yup, it was a space station. (and yes, he can correctly identify the space station and the shuttle) This version was after a few crashes and re-builds...I was trying to get a picture of him smiling. He didn't smile, but I love the look on his face here.
This little guy is a master at figuring out technology. He likes to use our phones (we have some fun kids apps for him). One day he was playing with apps while I was changing Mailee. Next thing I know, I have about 40 pictures like this:
And about 40 pictures like this. But now the kid can take some pretty decent pictures. (and not just of his head and leg!)
He continues to give us great concerts on his "stage." Sometimes it is the recorder, sometimes the piano, and sometimes the microphone, but you are always in for a good show. He also has some smooth new dance moves!
One morning we brought him in bed with us. I got up to find him sleeping like this over one of our pillows. How can that be comfortable??
He loves him some "choc-wate." I gave him a piece of chocolate (because he asked super nicely). He was so cute because it took him forever to eat it. He really took his time and enjoyed it!
Lots of pictures of the little guy, but we end with a bang!! :)

Love these pictures of the little man! Makes me miss him so - but we will see him in less than a week now.
Love, Gigi
Wow I can't believe how big he has gotten. I loved reading all of his fun ideas and cute poses! He seems very sweet...especially if he keeps up with "baby" so well.
