A beautiful fall day

We were driving home from our first baby class on Saturday and I couldn't help but notice what a beautiful day it was. The weather was great, not too hot and sunny. But for some reason our neighborhood looked so much better than normal. Maybe it is just fall...the leaves falling off the trees (or the leaves that are still left after Ike), or maybe it was just the time of day and bright sunshine. Maybe it was just nice to be outside....I couldn't quite put my finger on it, and then, I figured it out! They had finally picked up all the trash bags!!! There are still a few piles of fences and branches, but for the first time in 4 weeks, the curbs in our street were empty! What a beautiful sight! :)
