"Two Birffaay"

That's what Kaiden calls it.  :) 

For his big day we had some friends over to grill out and enjoy some birthday cake.

Some of our friends...

Gigi and Poppy met up with some old friends of theirs from Amarillo who now live in Houston.  They hadn't seen each other in nearly 20 years!

Kaiden enjoyed playing with the balloons.

He really enjoyed everyone singing to him!  He grinned from ear to ear the whole time.

When everyone finished, he said "Again?!?"

Blew out his candles like a champ.

And loved every bite of his "Ka-ka-cake."

He was also excited about all of his gifts.

This takes a lot of concentration!

Waiting patiently for Daddy to open his bowling set.

He loved carting his new Elmo suitcase all over the living room.

 

 He was funny with Hokey Pokey Elmo.  He was interested in it, but wanted to keep his distance.  He would push his hand to make him dance, then run over to me or Lichar to watch Elmo do his dance.

Here he was sitting safely with me while Elmo danced.

 He loved trying to chase the balloons around the room.  Here he was getting his stool to stand on so he could reach it.
