Kaiden got to start his birthday a little early when Christine brought his present over a few nights before his birthday.
It was MORE of the awesome cool car track. We almost have enough to make it around the world, which is great because Kaiden loves this track!!! Let's be honest, we all love this track!
When I picked him up from school, I was met with this super happy-blue-icing-stained face. He was beside himself because he got to take cupcakes for his class! It cracks me up the things kids get excited about!
I could not decide which pose was cuter. Really, could he BE any cuter?!? And I love his little birthday crown from school. It just makes my heart melt--I have no idea why!
Since his "real" birthday was on a Wednesday, we had a mini celebration in the middle of the week....his party details will follow.
He was able to open presents from family on Wednesday, his real birthday.
Uncle even came to visit on his motorcycle!!
We opened presents with Tante and Uncle.
Kaiden loved this card from Tante Lilian. It sang to him and he thought it was hilarious.
He even got a present from Oom Carey and Tante Bonjella!
He got some cool building "shapes" from Tante and Uncle.
But I think the adults had as much fun with them as Kaiden did. Speaking of Kaiden, where did he go?!?
Oh wait, there he is....
...picking up all the trash....
...and throwing it away. All while the adults played! That's my little cleaner--always likes it tidy!
But we convinced him to come back and play with us!
Then we had some birthday cake!
He takes that very seriously. ;)
The "after" disaster.
That weekend, Gigi and Poppy came to visit. They brought more presents from GranSan and Uncle Buck. "A space shuttle!!!!" Here he was admiring his new picture made special by GranSan.
The final product hanging in his room.
That weekend, we had his party with all of his friends at Chucky E. Cheese. I know he doesn't look excited here, but he was super excited about his party. We had talked about it for weeks and he really enjoyed picking out who he would invite, and what all we would do. He was super cute every time he talked about it.
Mailee had to have her picture taken here too. If you pay close attention, you may notice a little trend...
We had our party early in the morning--at 9:00 am. (we thought this would be best for our young guests, and we were hoping to beat some of the crowds...and we were right!) When we first arrived, we had an hour to play games. Daddy and Kaiden discussing what games to play.
Driving cars, always a crowd pleaser.
This basket ball game was a HUGE hit with all the kids. I think they would have stayed here all day...and they DID stay here for a very long time.
Kaiden and his best bud, Alex, shooting some hoops.
"I know there are more balls in there!"
Samantha joined the boys and the three of them had a blast.
Waiting patiently for more balls.
Kaiden's other best bud, Tomas and his Daddy watching all the fun. Tomas had more fun climbing in the tubes high above us!
Alex and Kaiden in the Bob bulldozer.
Mailee having her turn!
Wack-a-mole...
...with Devin.
On the slide.
Mailee too!
Avery, Alex and Kaiden on the simulated roller coaster ride.
After our time playing games, we headed to the tables. Chuck E. Cheese came by to give Kaiden his birthday crown, medal and help us sing Happy Birthday to Kaiden!
Kaiden wasn't too sure about him, but he tolerated it pretty well.
Watching the show while eating some pizza.
The cake
It was a hit!
Poppy and Mailee watching the fun.
And the most fun--presents!
I love how they are just staring at this present. It is almost like they are drooling.
Such a fun morning!!! We followed up all the fun with a nice long nap for all!

So fun! Love that car track and LOVE that your child would rather clean than play. Why don't I have one of those?
