My "bitty girl" isn't so itty-bitty anymore.
She's been sleeping in her room (Kaiden's room) and sleeping a little better, but still not as much as Mommy would like.
Still does her pose for us.
Her impression of "The Thinker." ;)
I love her deep in thought here. We went to the park and she was intently watching some other kids play. She sat there watching them for a long time.
When I finally got her attention, I got this smile!
She is pointing lots and "talking" about what she points to.
I see this face all the time clinging to my legs! She is still definitely a Momma's girl!
Not only is she good at making silly faces like these, she also cracks herself up with her own fake laugh.
Every once in a while, I still see her sticking that tongue out like she used to.
I'm convinced that she says Kaiden "Kak Kuhn" She says it all the time and points to Kaiden. She also says, "GOOooooooooo!"
She will repeat certain words that we say, but seldom says them on her own.
When we go to the park, she LOVES to swing.
When I pick her up from school, she is always SUPER happy to see me. :)
(Best part of my day!)
She has finally learned to slide off the couch/bed FEET first instead of her usual HEAD first!
There's that tongue again!
She is still a climber. She loves to get in Kaiden's bed. She likes to steal his water cup from his bed--the perfect prize for climbing into his bed!
She is a good eater. Not only does she love Mac and Cheese, but she will also eat green beans (one of the veggies we still can't get Kaiden to eat)
When we went to the park, the other swing was broken, so the kids had to share. They giggled the whole time!
I always try not to post a million shots of the same thing, but I love their expressions in these and couldn't resist. Sorry!
I don't know why, but this just cracked me up. The first thing they always want when we get home is something to drink (and sometimes a snack). I loved how they both just parked it and drank.
She copies me when I say "lualualualualua" (with my tongue out.)
She shakes head from side to side all the time to "dance."
She has started playing peek-a-boo! (Though her serious face is pictured here.)
Chillin with Poppy.
This makes me laugh. Lichar is distracted by his phone and she is just helping herself!!! She is getting good at standing by herself for long periods of time. (especially when there is a nice reward like Daddy's dinner!)
She started taking steps on her own on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
Everybody loves Daddy! (especially when he has a big bowl of ice cream!)
One night when I was trying to get dinner started, I turned around and saw this....
Time to find the straps for the high chair!!! (I never put them on for Kaiden)
"What's wrong Mom?"
Aren't they the cutest?!?
She got two new top teeth. On Jan. 20 she got the left front tooth, and just three days later she got one next to that.
She loves to "help" me in the kitchen.
Always into something...
She loves, loves, LOVES sitting in this chair!
Since she still doesn't sleep enough for Mommy, sometimes she ends up in our bed.
Just a few days later, this was the scene in our room. Sure makes it hard to get up and go to work when I see the three of them snuggled there!!
Evidently she thinks it is fun to eat with your toes!
One night she just propped her foot up on her table and thought it was great fun!
Being SO silly!!
"What? Doesn't everyone sit like this at dinner?"
More posing....or thigh exercises....who knows! :)
Mailee in the pilot's seat of the space shuttle.
She still loves bath time!
She didn't seem too amused when I started playing with her hair!
Maybe even a little mad?!?
Practicing drinking out of a cup.
She loves to stand in the bath tub. Here she reminds me of a kewpie doll. My great grandmother (Granny) collected kewpies. I think she would love these pictures of her!!
Granny's kewpie doll.
Seriously, does she GET any cuter?!?
