5 months

K has grown so much this month!!

He still loves, loves, LOVES his exersaucer. He is "talking" more and more. Recently he's learned to squeal and loves to see how loud he can do that. :) The louder he gets, the more excited he is!

Some of his favorite toys this month. He is mostly a fan of anything plastic because he can put it in his mouth and chew on it!! He's not been a fan of fuzzy stuff of late. (yes, that is a plastic cup in there...of course he loves to chew on it, just like everything else!)

No matter how many toys we give him, he still likes to chew on our fingers! He is a bit like a venus fly trap, get something to close to him and he pulls it in to chew on it. I even have a hard time washing his face because he tries to eat the rag.

He still loves to play with his feet and has them in his mouth every chance he gets.

He tolerates staying on his stomach longer and longer, especially if there are fun toys in front of him.

He has rolled over both ways...first from back to tummy, then from tummy to back, but doesn't do it too often. (since he's usually chewing on his feet, they are in the way!)

These pictures crack me up!! (I tried to show them side by side, but I couldn't make it work!!) I guess he has discovered his tongue, because he has been sticking it out lots...
Now you see it,

Now you don't...

Now you see it,

Now you don't!

One morning while we were getting ready we put him on the bed. He was just super chilled watching the TV, so cute. His eyes got a little big when he saw the flash, so he doesn't look that chilled in this photo. (but still so cute!) :)

I don't have a picture of this one, but he's also learned to grab his pacifier by himself. He usually turns it all around and prefers to chew on the sides or back.

He loves looking at himself in the mirror (he always has!)

Here is K on his "soap box" after a bath. For some reason, he is always very "talkative" on his changing table. He laughs, squeals and chats it up while we are there...but as soon as we leave he gets noticeably quieter. Thus, we've dubbed the changing table as his soap box...

He can sit up by himself for 3-10 seconds (although in the week it has taken me to post this, he can now do it for a minute or more!!) Here he is practicing with Tante.

He's moved out of his infant bath tub and into the big tub! (more photos of that to come later!)

He already is playing soccer with Dad. We had a hard time getting a good picture because K would "throw" the ball faster than we could snap the picture. When we put the ball by him, he will "throw it" by pushing it away.

Here they are having "boy time" watching and playing soccer. K looks a little annoyed that Lichar was taking time out of their game to snap a picture! :)

And I have to say that I am super pumped that I got to squeeze this little man in person...and he seems to grin at me every time he sees me. Maybe my crazy hair right now is making him smile...oh well...I just love him...

He is so cute. I love that he has a Buns over Texas cup in his toys...every kid should. Hope to see you all this weekend!

Emily--we agree. And funny enough he seems to prefer the Buns cups over others. (or maybe it is just that we have 50 million at the house, I'm not sure!) :)
