Amarillo

We took K on yet another trip--this time to Amarillo--to see family. We also timed the trip so I could attend my 15 year high school reunion. K proved to be a great traveler once again, which was awesome since we made both flights without Lichar! Even on Southwest flights with lots of landings and take offs, K was happy throughout each flight. He even flirted and made lots of new friends. :)

We had a great time, and K got to meet many of Mommy's friends....

We had lunch with Shelly, Amber, Janna, Jakob and Audree. (at one of our favorite Amarillo fast food joints--Taco Villa!)


We also got to meet up with Abby and her kiddos. Here is a picture of E and B meeting K for the first time.




He also met Mommy's friend Brent and his little boy.


One of our reunion events was meeting at Cheer Texas to visit with former classmates and show off our kiddos. What a fun place! K was a little to small to enjoy all it had to offer, but we had a great time anyway. Plus, it gave Kaiden a chance to play with E and B again!

K did enjoy playing ball...guess he's going to take after Poppy. :)


I didn't take many pictures of the reunion, but it was great to see everyone!

You can tell K enjoyed meeting all of Mommy's friends!


He also enjoyed spending time with family who loves to spoil him!

One of my favorite things to do in Amarillo is sit on the porch and watch the thunderstorms. We had a great one while we were there that really cooled everything off. Since we haven't had rain in Houston in a very long time, it was extra wonderful to watch!


Turns out Kaiden is a big fan too, but he seems more interested in the "waterfall" where the rain comes off the roof by the porch. He was mesmerized!!


K also enjoyed visiting Gmom.




They had some good "talks."


K really enjoyed watching Gmom's dog, Deeogee. He was fascinated!


He also had a great time playing with GranSan.


While we were there, K decided to brush up on some good literature.
